Flynn Group Deploys Ziosk Technology Across 460 Applebee's Locations to Enhance Guest Experience

DALLAS, May 5, 2025 (WHERE & WHAT OT EAT) — Hospitality technology company Ziosk, a provider of pay-at-the-table and SaaS solutions for restaurants, has announced a partnership with franchise operator Flynn Group to implement Ziosk's platform across more than 460 Applebee's restaurants nationwide.

Flynn Group has installed Ziosk's zMini tablets equipped with DigiSite Smart Table technology at over 20,000 tables. These devices allow guests to order, pay, and access entertainment at the table, while automatically syncing with the restaurant’s point-of-sale system.

Ziosk’s spatial location software enables tablets to be moved between tables while maintaining guest check synchronization, allowing Applebee’s restaurants to adapt tablet usage to location-specific traffic patterns.

The zMini tablets also support guest engagement through promotional messaging and charity initiatives. According to the company, Flynn Group nearly tripled guest donations to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation from $150,000 to $373,000 between July and September 2024 using Ziosk’s on-table promotional tools.
