Bojangles Launches Limited-Time Watermelon Sweet Tea for Summer Promotion

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 16, 2025 (WHERE & WHAT TO EAT) — Fast-food restaurant chain Bojangles has announced the launch of a limited-time Watermelon Sweet Tea, a seasonal beverage combining the company’s traditional iced tea with real watermelon juice. The drink is available at participating locations starting May 15.

Watermelon Sweet Tea was created to complement Bojangles’ food offerings and provide a refreshing option for the summer. Customers can receive a free Watermelon Sweet Tea by using the promo code TEATIME at checkout between May 15–22.

To promote the launch, Bojangles hosted a “Tea Time” event in Charlotte that featured golf-themed games, giveaways, and free samples of the new tea. PGA TOUR golfer Chesson Hadley made an appearance at the event, which coincided with the PGA Championship taking place in the city.

Watermelon Sweet Tea joins a lineup of seasonal items at Bojangles, including Bo-Berry Cookies and Sausage Bo-Berry Biscuits. The drink is also available for delivery or pickup through the Bojangles app.
