TORONTO, June 9, 2025 (WHERE & WHAT TO EAT) — Food service company Pizza Nova has announced it raised $231,045 through its 2025 That’s Amore Pizza for Kids fundraiser. The funds were presented to Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ontario at a special event held at Variety Village.

The 26th annual fundraiser supported the charity by donating 50 cents from every dip sold at participating locations across Ontario during May. This year’s campaign also included a weekly pop-up pizza shop at the Variety Village Café, where fresh slices and dips were offered to help raise additional funds.

"Each year, I’m reminded of how powerful community can be when we come together for a meaningful cause. Thanks to the generosity of our guests and the dedication of our franchisees and team members, we’re able to help open doors for children to grow, play, and thrive. It’s a tradition that continues to inspire all of us at Pizza Nova," said Domenic Primucci, President of Pizza Nova.

“We are incredibly grateful for Pizza Nova’s unwavering support. Their commitment has made a profound impact on the lives of countless children and families across Ontario,” said Charlie Johnstone, President & CEO of Variety Ontario.

Since the partnership began in 1999, Pizza Nova has raised over $2.9 million for Variety, supporting programs that benefit children with disabilities across Ontario through inclusive sports, recreation, and life skills development.
