The restaurant is located at 1370 Polaris Parkway and spans approximately 3,660 square feet. It includes indoor dining, patio seating, digital order pickup and delivery services. The location is expected to employ between 25 and 40 workers and will operate daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The Columbus opening follows CAVA’s entry into the Ohio market earlier this year with a location in Cincinnati, as well as a recently opened restaurant in the nearby suburb of Hilliard.
CAVA offers a customizable Mediterranean menu that includes bowls, pitas, salads and protein options. The company recently added a Glazed Salmon entrée to its menu.
“Columbus is a city with a welcoming spirit and an energy that brings people together. That spirit, where people show up for one another and bond over a shared meal, is exactly what CAVA is all about. We’re excited to introduce our fresh, bold Mediterranean flavors to Columbus and create a welcoming space where guests can gather, recharge, and make CAVA part of their everyday routine. As we continue to grow in the region, we look forward to becoming a meaningful part of the community,” said Jeff Gaul, Chief Development Officer of CAVA.
CAVA also held a Community Day event ahead of the opening, partnering with IMPACT Community Action, a local nonprofit organization. The company matched donations raised during the event up to $1,000.
CAVA currently operates in 29 states and the District of Columbia and reports a long-term goal of reaching at least 1,000 restaurants by 2032. Additional Columbus-area locations are planned.
