LOS ANGELES, July 25, 2026, (WHERE & WHAT TO EAT) -- Juicy Lucy Inc. has expanded distribution of its frozen cheese-stuffed burger patties to more than 250 BJ’s Wholesale Club locations.
The frozen burgers are already available at select Target and Harris Teeter stores. The expansion increases the product's availability across additional East Coast markets.

The Juicy Lucy burger originated in Minneapolis during the 1950s and features a hamburger patty stuffed with cheese. Juicy Lucy Inc. introduced its frozen version at select Target stores in 2025 before expanding into additional Target and Harris Teeter locations in 2026.
“There’s really a burger movement happening now, and we are happy to be part of it. And with the Juicy Lucy there’s a twist with an outside in approach, so the cheese-filled burger is making quite the impression and finding its place among the burger-lover crowd on the national level,” said David Houston, Co-Founder of Juicy Lucy Inc.
According to the company, the BJ’s Wholesale Club package includes 12 frozen 100% Angus beef patties weighing four pounds. Each patty contains the equivalent of two slices of cheese, provides up to 28 grams of protein, and is gluten-free. The burgers are designed to be cooked directly from frozen using a grill, air fryer, oven, or stovetop skillet.
Juicy Lucy Inc. produces frozen cheese-stuffed Angus beef burger patties inspired by the Minneapolis-style Juicy Lucy. The products are available at participating Target, Harris Teeter, and BJ’s Wholesale Club locations.
