The Cheesecake Factory Recognized on PEOPLE’s 2025 Companies That Care List

CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., August 18, 2025 (WHERE & WHAT OT EAT)The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated has been named to the 2025 PEOPLE Companies That Care® list.

The list, compiled by PEOPLE magazine and Great Place to Work®, ranks U.S. companies based largely on employee surveys measuring workplace culture and community impact. The Cheesecake Factory placed 46th on this year’s list.

The company reported that its Nourish Program donates excess food from restaurants to local non-profits. In 2024, more than 820,000 pounds of food were provided to over 600 organizations. The program also helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and landfill waste.

The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated also partners with Feeding America®, donating proceeds from specially designated cheesecakes since 2008. To date, contributions have totaled more than $6.8 million. In addition, through the Give Back program sponsored by The Cheesecake Factory Oscar and Evelyn Overton Charitable Foundation, employees volunteer thousands of hours annually to charities across the country.

Earlier this year, the company was also named to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list for the twelfth consecutive year.
