Sodexo Names Joe Ganci CEO of Corporate Services and Energy & Resources in the U.S.

NORTH BETHESDA, Md., November 25, 2025 (WHERE & WHAT TO EAT) — Food services and facilities management company Sodexo has promoted Joe Ganci to CEO of Corporate Services and Energy & Resources in the United States. In the expanded role, Ganci will oversee operations across both business segments, working with approximately 400 clients across more than 1,000 sites in a range of industries.
Ganci previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer for the business units and will report to Thierry Delaporte, who serves as Chief Executive Officer of Sodexo North America. He will also serve on the North America Leadership Team. Ganci succeeds David Bailey.
In his new position, Ganci will oversee initiatives to strengthen client relationships, expand branded service offerings, and support growth across U.S. metropolitan and emerging markets. He will also oversee expansion of workplace dining and facilities brands including The Good Eating Company, Modern Recipe, and Kitchen Works.
Ganci has been with Sodexo for more than 25 years, holding senior operational roles within Campus and Corporate Services. His experience includes work in performance management and service delivery across complex environments. Before joining Sodexo, he held leadership positions with Marriott International and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Society of Hospitality and Foodservice Management.

The company recently announced that Delaporte will assume leadership of Sodexo’s North America business beginning January 1, 2026.
